A good friend of mine, Andy, and I used to study, lunch it, and slackline while living at Rutgers. Slacklining here has brought back memories of the laughter, stories, and balancing we shared. The company is different, and the rope is now set up in Parque de La Madre in Ecuador, as opposed to Cook Campus in Dirty Jersey, but the sentiment is quite the same. Hope you are doing well, Andy.

That's awesome! Did your slackline swing and bounce a lot, or was it steady? Can you do any tricks? At the circus school we practice on a line that's tied to a hammock stand, but it's sooo much more like a one inch trampoline. I don't like it as much - the movement and feel of it is so different and I prefer the tight wire. Love reading about you, Laur. I am so relieved you got out of harm's way from that storm. I probably would have given myself a heart attack freaking out about lightning, if I had been in your situation! Take care!! Come back safe and unelectrocuted!
